English Update

English Writing

The students are working on their Power Point presentation of their animal diaries. We are hoping to finish these up in the next week or two. If your child would like to work on this at home and at school, please feel free to send in a USB stick so they can bring the writing back and forth. If you would like a copy of the writing, please send in a USB stick with your child and I will save a copy onto the stick.
English Homework
Students have not had assigned red duotang homework this past week, and will not have 'red duotang' homework this week. Students are expected to work on their Bio Bag assignment (see below). Each student has been assigned a presentation date.
 Presentations begin Tuesday April 2.
BioBag Assignment
What:
A BioBag

How:
Choose any written works that have been
important to you or that you love (you must
have at least five written works) and bring
them to school*. You might bring the first
book you could read by yourself, a letter
that you like to read over and over, a special
recipe, a favorite trading card, etc. Please
try to include a variety of written works.
Place all your items in a bag (the bag can
be special, too) and bring it to class to
share. You will get to tell the class why each
of the works is special to you and how it has
impacted your life.
